Not bad overall

The property is clean, food is good

The check in process was a nightmare. I paid for 3 nights and when i got there they told me Bahia didn’t get the full amount cause i did the reservation through booking.com. So i gotta contact them. I ended up paying extra money while just to stay for 2 nights. It was really embarrassing for my family and me.

The property is big with a lot of space and things to do

My room was far from most of the thing including the restaurant and pools and the staff was unwilling to take us to our room in the golf cars 95% of the time even though it’s a service that is included with the stay.

Overall a good experience!

Property is well kept for it's age hopefully they can update things like lightning in the room and open spaces, new places around the beach are very good, food is almost the same but is tasty! Staff is helpulf and kind.

I could not access the other grand's (bavaro and punta cana) buffet's restaurants, if you're having and specific brand of alcohol and the bar where you are runs out of it, you will not get that until the next day or if you move to another bar that has it(and doesn't run out of it too).

Decent all inclusive for the price - fun time and beautiful beach!

Overall everything was ok. Food and drink were good. Relatively clean. Fast and easy transportation around the property.

Some bartenders were inattentive and pool bars understaffed. The Turquesa was NOT on the beach - but it was a short walk/tram ride to it. The website was misleading in this.

My stay was great will return and stay at the Aquamarine or Ambar locations

I loved the buffet and the restaurants were amazing. The staff were friendly and very welcoming. Loved the adjoining rooms. It worked for our entire group.

The Turquesa rooms were a bit outdated. The entire space needs to be updated especially the room lighting. The bathroom tub/shower height were too high to get in and out especially if someone has knee or leg issues.

Difficult to be positive when denied dinner on December 31st!

The staff were really nice. Especially Yaina at the pool bar. And Nayeli in entertainment

Making reservations for dinner on New Years eve was a disaster. We inquired at reception to see if reservations were necessary. They said no. Maybe there was a communication problem. However, the attitude of the 2 male managers at the entrance was totally unacceptable. We were not aware when we booked the hotel that reservations for dinner were necessary. The onus is on the hotel to make guests aware of reservation requirements instead of denying us entry when we arrived for dinner. VERY VERY POOR BY THE MANAGEMENT

Access to the beach was ridiculous was told it was private or they wouldn’t give you towels had to bring from hotel but didn’t tell you that until you got to the beach. Lotsss of mosquitoes in the room for bit every night in my sleep

Weekend away!

The entertainment staff was incredible. Really enjoyed them. Pool was super clean and it was not busy there at all. Lots of chairs. The ground staff keeps Torquesa beautiful. Peggy at the front desk was our first greet to the resort and he was very welcoming and friendly. We have been to 4 Bahia Properties ( 6 trips in total ) in 3 different countries and they give the same level of service which is what we come to expect and enjoy!

I did not like that people brought their own speakers down to the pool to overpower the music of the entertainment team. I think they should not be allowed at the pool AT ALL. We go to the Caribbean to listen to that music.. not top 40 from the USA. ... our door did not lock. The maid knew all about it. Said we needed to slam the door really hard and it would lock. Nope. No Bueno. So unknowingly, our door never needed a key card to get in. We figured this out on day 3. We told the front desk 2 times and they did not send anyone to fix it. I reminded them at checkout that this needed to be fixed.
